Ryan Reynolds was left 'crying tears of joy' after Wrexham earned back-to-back promotions.
🍸The Welsh side returned to the EFL after 15 years away last term when they lifted the National League title, meaning that they faced the challenge of adapting to life at a higher level.
🐷Doing so has been a relative breeze, with the Red Dragons earning automatic promotion - along with Stockport County - with two games to spare.
Wrexham's journey really is a fairytale after Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney✃ completed a takeover of the club in November 2020, with the club on a meteoric rise ever since.
🦩The club knew that a victory over Forest Green Rovers - along with MK Dons dropping points and Barrow losing - would see them go up, something that looked a strong possibility at half-time with the Welsh side 4-0 up.
Co-owner McElhenney was every fan at half-time as he tried to work out whether Wrexham were up or not, sharing a hilarious image from his hit show 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'.

൩But things got even better for Wrexham in second half as a 6-0 victory was enough to send the Racecourse Ground into raptures.
✨Fans stormed onto the pitch in their thousands after seeing their side go up, a clear show of just how much their success means to the club.
It's also the first time that Wrexham have earned back-to-back promotions in their 159-year history.
ℱNeither Reynolds or McElhenney were in attendance to see their club promoted to League One, something that one fan pointed out on social media.

𝓰Replying to the post, McElhenney simply replied: "Killing me".
🏅Ryan Reynolds left a heartfelt message of his own, writing on X: "A few years ago, if you told me I would be crying tears of joy over a football match taking place in North Wales, you would be Rob McElhenney.
𝄹"Congrats to Wrexham and to my co-chairman in crime. Double up the town! This is the ride of our lives."
ඣWrexham appear unlikely to win the League Two title with Stockport four points clear of them with three games remaining, compared to their two.
But with the now-world-famous club powering through the football pyramid, I'm sure they won't mind too much.
